Maria da Conceição Melo
Natural from Maia, Oporto district, concluded in 1984 the course of architecture at the School of Fine Arts in Oporto.
Was a student of Fernando Tavora and Alvaro Siza and other architects that, in the 1980s, founded the pedagogical principles of the discipline that would become the School of Porto.
She exercises her profession around the planning and urban planning, completing a master's degree in 1995 in this area at the Faculties of Architecture and Engineering, University of Porto.
Write and submit communications under disciplinary seminars, conferences and schools.
She was visiting professor at the School of Architecture at the University of Minho, where she taught the 5th year of integrated Masters in architecture, in the academic years 2009/2010 and 2010/2011.
Founded in 2005, with Cristina Emilia Ramos Silva and João Paulo Correia, the company Cultour.
